Advent-Christmas Members Recital: December 4, 2011
DOROTHY YOUNG RIESS, M.D., is Associate Organist at First Christian Church. She won the National Young Artists Organ Competition in San Francisco 1952, and was one of the featured artists at the Region IX Convention there July 2011.
DR. MATTHEW ESTES is a chemical engineer by profession and is Organist at Epiphany Episcopal Church in Henderson. He recently moved to Nevada from Ohio.
KYM S. CUSHING is a practicing attorney and Organist of the Green Valley Stake, LDS.
SUSAN C. LASHER is from Waynesboro, Virginia where she is active as a substitute organist and sings in the Waynesboro Schola Cantorum.
RONALD D. RICHARDSON teaches organ and piano, and also provides vocal coaching. He recently relocated to Henderson from Salt Lake City.
CHERRILL HOEFT is a retired elementary teacher in the Clark County School District and is the Organist for the Inspirata Ward of Anthem Stake, LDS.
BRUCE BEHNKE has recently retired from teaching music in the Clark County School District and is the chapter's webmaster and editor of the "Desert Wind," the newsletter of the Southern Nevada AGO Chapter.
ALLISON STEWART teaches music at Piggott Elementary School. She is also a private oboe instructor in the community.
SHIREEN BEAUDRY is the Dean of the Southern Nevada AGO Chapter and is Organist at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and Music Director of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Las Vegas.
DR. DAVID D. DORWAY, recently retired pediatrician, Dr. Dorway is the Treasurer of the Southern Nevada AGO Chapter and is the Organist at First Presbyterian Church.
DR. PAUL S. HESSELINK provides organ instruction at University of Nevada, Las Vegas and is the Organist at Christ Church Episcopal.
