Diane Bish Plays Vegas
Diane Bish, the First Lady of the Organ, is without a doubt, one of the nation’s most famous organist personalities. The recitalist, television host/producer, author and composer is also an organ designer. Bish worked with Pierro Ruffatti and architect Harold Wagoner in designing the Ruffatti organ that was installed in 1974 at the Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church , and of course she has her own line of Allen digital instruments. She has written seven books, recorded more than albums and produced more than 500 episodes of the Joy of Music. Known for her elegant concert attire and rhinestone encrusted organ shoes.
Diane Bish performed in Las Vegas on February 8, 2002 at the First Christian Church as part of the their concert series. She played on the 3-manual, Allen Renaissance organ. The event was sponsored by the Church, the SNCAGO, Walt Strony, Kym Cushing, the Allen Organ Company and Church Organs of Nevada.
